How did I become a
Live Illustrator?

I've worked in the wedding industry previosuly
My introduction to the wonderful world of weddings began as a bridal consultant, which ignited a passion that has stayed with me for life. I went on to work as a bridal consultant in various settings full-time for a total of five years, but I first stepped into the wedding world ten years ago and I’ve dipped back in whenever I could!
The people who make this industry tick are completely inspiring to me. We’re all super-creative dreamers who share one thing in common across our different fields photography, floristry, cake artistry, and more. We love the magic of making someone’s big day truly special. I absolutely love it and feel completely at home.

I've been drawing since before I could write
It’s always been in my blood. I quickly discovered that my chosen art subject would be the human figure, using my Barbie and Ken dolls as models, I loved changing their outfits just so I could draw them. Over the years, I continued creating art just for myself and grew a love for fashion. I went on to study fashion textiles, focusing on the bridal industry, with the dream of one day becoming a bridal shop owner.
When the pandemic hit, my time in the wedding industry took an unexpected pause. After a few years, I knew I had to find my way back but I also craved something new. I realised I had never pursued my creativity professionally (mainly due to a lack of self-belief in my work). So, I decided to take a leap of faith and put myself in what felt like the deep end: illustrating at weddings, letting strangers watch me draw, creating outside the walls of my home, and returning to where I’ve always felt most at home, and that is the wedding world.
Finding a way to bring the two halves of my soul together in my daily life has truly been the best decision I’ve ever made. I can’t imagine my life without it. As an artist, it feels like I leave a piece of my heart on every page. When I hand it over to its forever home and see the love and smiles for their new, personalised gift, there’s only one word to describe that feeling: sparkly. ✨
I'm Southwest based
I love travelling around the UK (and the world) to be a part of so many beautiful weddings. But I have to say, Somerset will always feel like home to me. I’m extremely lucky to have so many stunning venues within just 50 miles of where I live.
Almost 100 weddings and thousands of guests illustrated already... but who’s counting? I truly love what I do.

I've always loved working with Pens
I used to believe that being a real artist meant working with either paint or digital media but neither of those ever felt quite right for me. As every creative knows, we all have a specific medium that best reflects our creativity. For me, pencils and marker pens are what truly allow my art to come alive.
Being able to confidently say that I’m a professional artist, doing what makes my soul come alive, is something I feel every single time I face a blank sheet of paper and make that first pencil stroke — or when I find the perfect shade and hear the click of my marker lid. Nothing will ever beat that feeling, and I get to be immersed in it every day. How lucky am I? The luckiest!
My illustrations saved me during one of the most difficult moments of my life, and they’ve since blossomed into this amazing adventure I now get to call my career.
